LERA - Law Enforcement Risk Assessment

This is an instrument which assesses a department's law enforcement operation's exposure to liability. The Jail/Detention Center Risk Assessment (JDCRA) is a parallel instrument for use in jail operations. After the agency completes the LERA, a review and written report, with recommendations, is completed by our staff experts. On-site technical assistance is also available to review the action plan and develop strategies for implementation of the recommendations.
