In addition to training on policies and procedures development, we also offer seminars and workshops on a variety of other jail/detention subjects and issues. Some include: Effective supervision, management and leadership Team building Critical incident management Health care services Mental health care services Suicide prevention These workshops and seminars may be custom-designed to meet the needs of particular agencies. Participants in each seminar recieve specially-prepared manuals dealing with the course topic. Our training seminars stress decision-making skills and we often utilize a number of assessment instruments which provide direct feedback to participants about their work style, leadership strengths, and preferred role as a team member.
